Holy smokes in Kansas, a white G1! The macro is impressive, wow, obviously not a stand-alone camera quality but better than any on a phone I’ve seen. I like the PicSay and Skitch, I needz a instent lolz builda.I needz it gud.

hey annie, thanks for posting this. i’m looking for a new phone and this is really helpful. i want something i can use with gmail and also for some web browsing and other stuff. i would love to get an iphone but really don’t want to leave verizon. i was planning on getting the black berry storm but have heard there are some problems with it. my friend mollye just got the G1 from t-mobile and loves it :) i really like it too, but still don’t know if i’m ready to switch from verizon. i’d love to hear more :)

Yay! Another G1 owner! I wanted the white one too, but couldn’t wait so got the black one. I love it! Oh, I had no idea about the trackball as shutter release. Thanks for the info. Can’t wait for the market to have pay-for-apps. I think we’ll see a lot of even cooler stuff then!
