I know how it feels to get a vehicle broken into and it isn’t good. I learned not to put my trust in material possesions. They always break or get stolen. As long as your ok and next time don’t leave your cam in your car. Live and learn. I will still read your vlog…blog regularly.
ouch same thing just happened to my friend. cept he got his bowling ball, tennis racket, stereo, and some other stuff jacked that costed over $1000 to replace…
I’m sorry Annie! :( Hopefully you will be able to get a new camera sometime! :-) I love your vblogs! As for me… I’m also looking for a camera, but am pretty confused. There are so many and their features are so similar. Do you think there is a big difference between 5MP and 6MP?
@ rebekah, there shouldn’t be too big of a difference. i picked up somewhere on the net that the lens plays a big role in the quality of pictures. if you got a 10 mega pixel camera with a crappy lens, it could look grainy, and when shrunk down to a 5 mega pixel sized picture it would come out the same quality. hope that helps!
that sucks!! I’m sorry to hear that.. and the car is new too!!
Well i have bad news too. I have been away from the techie world for almost a week, and the reason being is that my mom died… she died a week from tomorrow.. :(
That stinks… people really suck sometimes. Do what i do- make a voodoo doll!! Whee!!
…just kidding. But seriously, i sorta know how you feel. One of my best friends had her 1500 dollar digital camera stolen from a practice room in school.
But its not your fault. Its the other guys fault.
oh, man – am I ever sorry to hear about this, Annie. I can’t imagine what that must be like. I had a car stolen once but it was likely worth less than your camera. Actually, it was really a relief when it was all said and done – no more half-broken-down car.
Even though I don’t know you, I am really sorry to hear about your car. That sucks, but thank goodness for insurance. Just to let you know, I ran across your blog through the student link in my profile. Everything will turn out fine, as you probably already know :-)
New York City is such a neat place. I’m having a great time… so much so that I barely have time to sleep! I’d like to share some moments with you guys, and what better way to do it than in music montage?! Featuring: Twilight Techno by Dimrain47 For more updates from the city, follow [...]
Another video I made for my YouTube class. This time we used a PXL-2000, a toy camcorder made by Fisher Price in the late ’80s. Presented to you in Pixelvision, this is why I am so awkward in real life: Featuring music from brad sucks’ source for “fixing my brain”, check him out because he’s [...]
I’m taking a production class this quarter based around YouTube – awesome, right? One of our first assignments was to add to the “5 random facts” meme. I could not for the life of me get rid of the awful saturated color cast… in fact, I think I made it worse. And no, I’m not [...]
Last Friday I had lunch with two of my favorite people: Steve + Zadi. It’s always nice to catch up with them (and laugh as we watch a guy walk straight into a crotch-height gate… with his crotch). Chatting with them made me miss our very epic summer, so I found some clips of us [...]
Nooooo!!!! that blows annie! your beautiful brand new car. =(.
I once had to break into my own car. I was out on a fishing trip miles from the nearest phone or city. actually i had to break two windows!
Don’t fret too much, things can be replaced and hopefully your insurance will cover it (or some of it).
what a bummer! people really stink sometimes.
I had my wallet stolen and it was horrible… it’ll all work itself out eventually though.
chin up.
BASTARDS!
No worries.. just a small speed bump

Sorry to hear about that. Don’t blame yourself about leaving your purse there – it’s your car, you have every right. Blame the thief.
Anyway, just wanted to comment on how great this site is.

That’s so sad…I hate bad people! They’re just…BAD! :(
Good thing cameras and purses, and windows can be replaced. But you can’t be replaced and I’m glad you’re okay. :)

Ohhhh, thieves suck, I’ve had my car broken into before, so I know how angry/frustrated you are (or at least I was!).
Damn thieves, lets hope their Butts get really itchy and their arms fall off.
