Run away; I’ve been busy, yes. There have been zero video updates, I know. My [new] video camera has languished on my desk for several months now, I suck.
What have I been doing? Well, that new job I got in May stole away my summer, and ever since school started, working has driven me crazy. I quit last week; I just couldn’t squeeze in studying, and the wage wasn’t worth the stress. My last day is October 15th. My boss is… upset, to say the least. Ever since I broke the news to him last week, he’s been very curt whenever he speaks to me (which is only when necessary). I don’t know, I feel really guilty for leaving them when they’re short on staff already, but my sister says I need to learn to say “no” and take care of myself first. She’s right, I suppose. I just wish these last few weeks would go by faster.
So now I need to find a new job. Well, I don’t have to, but it’s nice to have spending money. Plus, I’m saving up for a new car, and eventually a backpacking trip through Europe (these are long, loooong-term goals). My friend is trying to persuade me to join her in the ranks of Abercrombie clones, but I’m not so sure. I don’t wear their clothes as much anymore, and besides, my retail fascination is American Apparel.
I’m also thinking about taking an extended winter break and moving up to Mammoth for a couple of months. It’s primo season to be a snowboard bum. We’ll see.
Wow, this was quite the text-heavy post; I haven’t done this in a while. Reminds me of the pre-video days, hah.

Wow - that American Apparel site is a little like soft porn, isn’t it? They have some vlog-style videos on the site and lots of pictures of semi-clad models. Weird. Not bad but weird.
Yeh, where have you been lol? I became a reader when you blog drought :). It’s all good, I know how busy it gets and it really does affects your grades speaking from experience so you made the right decision quitting. Take it easy.
Good thing you quit…darn grades are important. Retail is always a good part-time option especially with the holidays approaching, but there’s no point in working someplace where you don’t wear their stuff: you gotta take advantage of the discounts!!!
If you ride a bicycle you will be in great shape, save money on insurance and gas and be able to save a ton of money for your European trips. I gave up my car and motorcycle for a bike and I feel great! No more bondage to the oil industry or the insurance companies! The physical exercise made me lose two pants sizes in the last year and I have more energy to do things, like your idea of snowboarding. My advice? Don’t ever get a car. You don’t need it and you’ll thank yourself for not getting one. ;-)

hey annie, I just posted on my blog about American Apparel (triciawang.blogspot.com). The owner is being sued for sexual harassment. He supposedly likes to masturbate in front of his workers, exposes himself, has oral sex with employees in front of others and more!. he find his models by walking down the street in LA with his camera, and then convinces “average” looking girls to model for him - so that’s why there is this 70’s kind of untouched girl look. However, his end goal is to sleep with all his women. my post links some the articles that talk about the lawsuits.
oh yea and he prefers Asians - aren’t we lucky:)
