A quasi-update; Last night was the Jimmy Eat World concert. They’re my favorite. Mates of State opened and Taking Back Sunday also played.
Unfortunately, we hit some trouble on our way there. Somewhere on the 710 freeway Sabrina’s tire blew out. What the heck? It was really scary actually, and we had to pull over to change the tire. I would’ve loved to have a video to post, but I felt really insensitive, taking pictures during our moment of distress. Standing on the shoulder of a freeway is kind of scary though, the cars zoom by SO FAST.
The concert itself was great. We were way up in the nosebleeds; it would’ve been nicer to have pit tickets. Well, at least I didn’t have to deal with stupid moshers, forced to slide around in their sweat. Who moshes to Jimmy Eat World anyway? I mean really.
Anyway, Tom Linton is still a rock sex god. I could listen to him and Jim sing foreverrrr. Jimmy Eat World is amazing live. Amazing.
Oh, I LOVE Jimmy Eat World..I wanted to go to that concert…hope you had lots and lots of fun. =]

On Moshing: I don’t get it, at least for me, when I go to a concert, I go to see the band play live, not jump around like an idiot.
I’m going to The Killers and Louis XVI on Monday for my birthday, I’m excited.

Ok, Jimmy Eat World is good, but check out Beck’s new cd Guero, it’s definitely enjjoyably listenable and addicting. I haven’t ejected from my car for weeks.
